Beardslee Academy pre-k special needs teacher Hannah Rodriguez has been honored as a 2024 California Teacher of the Year. California Teacher of the Year is a prestigious designation awarded to five educators who make a major impact not only in their student’s lives but in the community as well. Selected by the California Department of Education Committee, the thorough process includes the review of applications from the CDE selection committee, an evaluation of the teachers’ rapport with their students and their classroom environments, presentation abilities, teaching techniques, and teacher interviews. Congratulations to Hannah for the great talent and dedication she demonstrates to her students and community on a daily basis!
