Each month, a different Duarte Unified school will share the wonderful work of its students and staff with the community at the monthly Board of Education meetings. This month, the spotlight was on Duarte’s Child Development Program, highlighting “BE MY HERO”: Celebrating the Positive Impact of Male Engagement in Early Childhood. The presentation showcased the profound and immeasurable impact that fathers, grandfathers, big brothers, foster parents, uncles, and male caregivers have on children's lives.
