CalPERS medical offers 10 health plans; 9 HMOs and 2 PPOs.
Duarte Unified contracts with ASCIP to provide Dental and Vision insurance to eligible employees.
ASCIP provide 1 HMO dental plan, 1 PPO dental plan, and 1 vision plan.
The District contributes $8,750-$10,000 a year for each full-time employee to help pay for the cost for medical, dental, and vision insurance. (District contribution is prorated for less then full-time employees over 50%)
