Southern California Edison (SCE)
To help with financial challenges due to COVID-19, SCE is temporarily suspending disconnections for customers unable to pay their bill. Some authorized payment agencies may close or provide intermittent service and late payment fees will be waived if this affects customer’s ability to pay. Southern California Gas

LA County Briefing: Tenant Protections and Police Reform
  • Emergency protections are available for tenants that cannot pay rent due to COVID-19.
  • Tenants should notify their landlord in writing ASAP if they cannot pay rent due to COVID-19, provide documentation and keep copies of these documents.
  • Lambreni Waddell-Chief of Staff, Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County provided the following advice and resources:
