Ms. Lot, TK-4 Music

Dr. Lot Demeyer (aka Ms. Lot) first came to Duarte Unified School District in 2019. She teaches TK-4th grade music lessons at Maxwell, Beardslee, Royal Oaks and Valley View Academies. Ms. Lot aims to cover all California Standards for Music through songs, activities, movement, games, stories and more. Lessons are playful and varied, but with clear goals in mind and high expectations for all.

 

Ms. Lot is also active as a professional oboe player and university professor. She has performed with LA Opera, LA Master Chorale, LA Chamber Orchestra, Long Beach Opera, Musica Angelica Baroque Orchestra, Bach Collegium San Diego and more. She is a Fulbright scholar, has a Doctoral Degree in Oboe Performance and holds the position of Lecturer in Baroque oboe at the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music. Lot lives in Arcadia, CA with her son and daughter.
